Terms of Service

By engaging with our agency, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  • Service Scope: Shabnam Maid Agency acts as a professional facilitator between the Employer (Client) and the Domestic Help (Candidate).
  • Verification: While we collect and provide KYC documents (Aadhaar/Voter ID), the final responsibility for Police Verification and background satisfaction remains with the Client.
  • Contract Validity: Our standard service contract and registration are valid for one year from the date of the candidate’s joining.
  • Fees & Payments: The agency commission or registration fee is payable in full at the time of the candidate joining. Fees are non-refundable once the trial period is completed.
  • Jurisdiction: All legal disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Privacy Policy

At Shabnam Maid Agency, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your personal information.

  • Data Collection: We collect information such as your Name, Phone Number, Email, and Residential Address only when you submit it via our contact forms, WhatsApp, or phone calls.
  • Use of Data: Your information is used strictly to provide domestic help services, verify your requirements, and communicate service updates.
  • Cookies & Google Ads: Our website uses cookies to improve user experience. We use Google Ads and third-party vendors to show ads based on your past visits to our site. You can opt-out of personalized advertising through your Google Account settings.
  • Data Security: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with third parties. Data is shared only with potential domestic staff for the purpose of employment interviews.

Replacement & Refund Policy

We aim for long-term satisfaction and provide the following protections:

  • Replacement Guarantee: We provide up to 3 Free Replacements within the first 6 months of the contract if the candidate leaves or if their performance is unsatisfactory.
  • Replacement Timeline: We strive to provide a suitable replacement within 7 to 15 working days, depending on the specific skill set required.
  • Refund Policy: * Registration and Service fees are generally non-refundable once a candidate has joined after the trial.
    • If the agency is unable to provide a replacement within 21 working days of a formal request, a pro-rata refund (after deducting administrative costs) may be issued at management’s discretion.
  • Trial Period: We offer a 2-day paid trial. If you choose not to hire the candidate after the trial, the Client must pay the candidate for those 2 days of work.

Code of Conduct (Client & Helper)

To ensure a professional and safe working environment, we expect:

  • Fair Treatment: Clients must treat helpers with dignity and respect. Any form of physical or verbal abuse will result in immediate termination of service without a refund.
  • Living Conditions: For live-in staff, clients must provide adequate food, a safe sleeping area, and sufficient rest periods.
  • Salary Payments: Monthly salaries must be paid directly to the helper by the 5th of every month.
  • Leave Policy: Helpers are entitled to 2 paid leaves per month, as mutually agreed upon between the Client and the Helper.
  • Confidentiality: Helpers must respect the privacy and security of the Client’s household at all times.
